<p>ERP Business Systems Analyst (Cloud Modernization Initiative)</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Our client is seeking an experienced <strong>ERP Business Systems Analyst</strong> with a blend of functional business analysis and technical understanding to support a large-scale enterprise application modernization program. The organization is transitioning a long-established ERP platform to a cloud-based environment and requires additional expertise to assist with analysis, process evaluation, testing, and stakeholder engagement throughout the transformation effort.</p><p>This role will serve as a key link between business operations, technology teams, and external implementation partners. The successful candidate will help evaluate existing processes, document business needs, assess system functionality, support solution development, and contribute to a successful migration and adoption strategy.</p><p><br></p><p>Primary Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Collaborate with business leaders, technology teams, and external service providers to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.</li><li>Lead discovery sessions and workshops to understand current operational processes and identify future-state objectives.</li><li>Develop and maintain business requirements documentation, functional specifications, workflow diagrams, use cases, and related project artifacts.</li><li>Evaluate existing ERP workflows, custom functionality, integrations, and business processes to identify dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.</li><li>Convert business requirements into actionable functional recommendations that support project objectives.</li><li>Partner with technical resources to review solution approaches, troubleshoot issues, and support design discussions.</li><li>Assist with impact assessments related to process changes, operational risks, and organizational readiness.</li><li>Participate in application testing activities, including test planning, validation, defect management, and user acceptance testing.</li><li>Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the solution lifecycle, from analysis through deployment.</li><li>Act as a liaison between business users, internal technology teams, and external consulting partners to ensure alignment and project progress.</li><li>Support multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced project environment while helping manage changing priorities.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Required Experience</p><ul><li>5+ years of Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience within enterprise application environments.</li><li>Experience supporting ERP platforms, including business process analysis, configuration reviews, integrations, reporting, and system enhancements.</li><li>Background supporting application implementations, upgrades, migrations, modernization efforts, or digital transformation initiatives.</li><li>Strong requirements elicitation, stakeholder engagement, and process documentation skills.</li><li>Proven experience creating business requirements, functional documentation, workflows, test plans, and related project deliverables.</li><li>Ability to analyze business challenges, identify solution options, and collaborate with technical teams on execution strategies.</li><li>Experience supporting system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-deployment validation activities.</li><li>Excellent communication and facilitation skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Preferred Experience</p><ul><li>Experience supporting cloud-based ERP modernization or migration programs.</li><li>Background working within heavily customized enterprise application environments.</li><li>Exposure to manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, finance, operations, or related business functions.</li><li>Experience partnering with software implementation firms, consulting organizations, or managed service providers.</li><li>Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, operational efficiency initiatives, and organizational change management practices.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This version removes many of the unique identifiers, platform-specific references, and keyword combinations that competitors commonly use to reverse-search proprietary job postings while preserving the core responsibilities and qualifications.</p>
